STAR DRIVE
The drive has been re-designed to incorporate reliability features so that customers can concentrate on making castings, not servicing auxiliary equipment:
And featuring the patented Shur-Lok* coupling:
|
STAR LIFT
The all-new STAR Degasser lift system can be supplied
as a stand-alone, batch-treat fixed ladle station; furnace mounted with
an adapter plate for continuous or intermittent melting or holding furnace
degassing; or cart-mounted for mobile degassing service.
|
STAR CONTROL SYSTEMS
Metaullics offers two standard control panel options:
With the latter, various input data signals (cycle count, temperature, etc) can be integrated into the system with expandable expansion boards for these or other specialized functions.

STAR SHUR-LOK SHAFT AND ROTOR
Metaullics produces all degassing shafts with a proprietary, oxidation resistance treatment which significantly extends graphite life. Actual production experience shows life improvement of 30-100% depending on specific operating conditions. In certain applications, Metaullics' own MACTM ceramic sleeves or other material enhancements may be applied for greater wear resistance. The patented STAR Rotor** achieves greater degassing efficiency, usually in less time than rotors/impellers of other configurations. And of course all shafts are configured to fit with the
advantaged Shur-Lok coupling! |
